Late Night Live Music Ft Seb Folvig
The Seb Folvig Trio combines elements of genre conventions and improvisation to showcase a range of ideas and phrases and how these can often flow freely between each style of music. The trio is comprised of Seb Folvig on upright and electric basses, Aleks Folvig on guitar and Chris McGuinness-Terry on drums. For this gig the group will primarily use vocabulary stemming from jazz, groove and RnB

Groove Open Mic Band Jam
Come and join us for a night of music and fun at “The Groove” Whether you’re a musician or just a music lover, this is the perfect opportunity to come and jam with like-minded individuals.
At The Groove, all genres are welcome, so feel free to bring your guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, or any other instrument you’d like to play. Or, if you prefer to just sit back and enjoy the music, you’re more than welcome to do that too!
Our talented house band will kick off the night with some groovy tunes, and then it’s open mic time. So if you’ve been itching to show off your skills or try out some new material, now’s your chance.
Don’t worry if you’re new to the scene – everyone is welcome and we’ll make sure you feel right at home. And with our friendly atmosphere and affordable drink prices, you’re sure to have a great time.

Come and check out three of Hobart’s piano players, two of whom will not in fact be playing the piano..! Piano playing duties will be taken care of by the wonderful Danny Sulzberger, Vibraphone duties by the phenomenal Kelly Ottaway, musical mouth sounds will be made by the rambunctious Eleanor Meredith.
Come enjoy the magic of Piano, Vibes and Vox all mixed together to create jazzy goodness! Much improvisatory nonsense will ensue for your listening pleasure!!

Gus Leighton Quartet

occasional waltz in this up-and-coming local act comprised of
some of Tasmania’s finest jazz musicians.

The ultimate music duo, blending contemporary r&b, funk, indie folk, and jazz to create a mesmerizing sound. With the captivating vocals of Martine and Moz’s smooth keyboard skills, they bring the best of their worlds together.
Having met in the vibrant arts scene of Nipaluna, they are ready to bring a fusion of old school style and funky new twists to the stage.

Late Night Live Music Ft CMT Trio
The CMT Trio, comprised of some of Hobart’s most promising young jazz rhythm section, play a selection of material in the modern contemporary jazz style, interspersed with the occasional soundscape. Contemplative, relaxing original jazz based off CMT’s experiences in the last few years. This iteration of the trio features Louis Monaghan and Sebastian Folvig.

Aaron Loveless Quartet
Aaron Loveless is joined this evening by some of his favorite musicians for a special performance. The Loveless Quartet features Aaron Loveless on drums, Ben Firth on piano, Jed Adams on double bass, and Jode Brewster on saxophone. Brought together by a shared passion for conversational performance, the group thrives on musical dialogue—blending spontaneity, interaction, and expression through sound.

Jode Brewster Quartet
Jode Brewster is an emerging saxophone artist from Hobart, who passionately embraces the jazz language; Drawing inspiration from legends like John Coltrane, Hank Mobley, and Joe Henderson.
Jode will be joined by some of Hobart’s finest, Ben Firth (piano), Liam Killick (guitar), Hamish Houston (double bass), and Aaron Loveless (drums).
Late Night Live Music Ft ShinDig Quattro
Shindig Quattro draw inspiration from their wide and varied musical and cultural backgrounds. They swing easily between classic standards, quirky Euro-style numbers from the past and present, up-tempo tunes, and chilled-out sambas to keep you entertained.
Helena Markovitch, Aaron Entresz and Crystal Livermore are all graduates of the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music specialising in classical voice and languages, jazz guitar and contemporary music respectively. They perform as a trio or can be augmented by accordion and drums to provide a bigger sound.
Having come together to form Shindig Quattro in the last couple of years they are enjoying fusing together their varied areas of expertise to create a show that takes you on a journey across continents and through the decades

Wild Country Ft Hank and Slim
Hank and Slim hear half remembered hillbilly hits echoing through the ghost towns of rural Tasmania. Dad and uncles worked too hard, drank too much, shot rabbits and drove trucks. The bar room jukebox and Holden cassette tapes played hymns of heartbreak and loss beneath the rainy mountains. The sensitive man acts tough, the poor man struts like a rooster. A shot of whiskey with dry humor. Hank and Slim sing beside the old grave, lonesome together
