DESCRIPTION:Jamie Pye is a London-based jazz guitarist and composer with ro
 ots in both Australia and NewZealand. He performs in various line ups and 
 contexts\; from intimate duo residencies\, toheadline performances as a ba
 ndleader showcasing his original music. He is often part of housebands for
  jam sessions around town\, or as a sideman on other projects.In 2023\, Ja
 mie completed his first 10-date national tour around New Zealand\, includi
 ngappearances at the Creative Jazz Club in Auckland and Hanover Hall in Du
 nedin. In betweenshows\, Jamie recorded his debut album ‘Monochrome’\,
  released in November 2024 on GoodTwin Records.As a composer\, Jamie draws
  influence from all music and art forms\, paying particular attentionto th
 e work of composers and bandleaders Brian Blade\, Kendrick Scott\, Petros 
 Klampanis andAaron Parks. Jamie composes music with the intention of hones
 t storytelling and narrative\;creating compositions that are as complex as
  they are harmonically-rich\, while still remainingmusically accessible to
